Vogiatzis Nikolaos — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

It is a strange feeling when someone plays a game with you thinking you will not get it. And why? Just to earn more money in the low season? Were the additional 20€ worth it, dear owner?

This is what happened: We wanted to order "Gyros Pita", a small dish for our lunch, even showing on the menu, saying it in Greek and English many times. The service asked "pizza?" We went on until she repeated "pita". What did we get? Gyros pizza, of course. Suprise, it costs the thrice. Coincidence? When we stated, this is not our order, the women invented a story that we wanted pizza. She heard it. And then she changed the topic saying, this dish is also good. At this point, no excuses.

She came many times to our table saying "this is good!". I answered "no, this is not tasty and not our order" And again she just said: "this is good!".

Well, end of the story: we could not finish our meals. It was just disgusting, sorry. Two of us had problems with the digestive system after a few hours. Thanks for nothing!

In the end, she just announced the total amount we had to pay. No bill there. Is was way too high to what we originally wanted to order.

We ate a Pita Gyros for 2.40. Unbelievable price as it is enough for an average dinner. The host speaks many languages and is a very likeable person. I highly recommend visiting and tipping them for they deserve it. Best choice on the boulevard!

Tip: the Fries were a bit soggy. Fry them till...
