We had a wonderful dining experience at Olive in Glyfada. The host, Dora, was incredibly welcoming and added a personal touch to the evening. The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring traditional Greek dishes with a modern twist, and everything we tried was delicious. The homemade bread was a standout, fresh and flavorful.

The red wine served from the barrel was smooth and paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert was a highlight – not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful, with a lovely view that added to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

My husband and I live in Glyfada. The Olive Bar Restaurant is one of our go to place for an Athenian Riviera sunset view. It is located on the rooftop of the Dusit Athens Hotel in Glyfada which opened in 2023. Have taken other international guests since it opened. Last visit before this review posting was on 13 June 2024 for lunch with an international guest and she was impressed with the view. Try to book a table facing the pool and sea. We arrived in Athens today for extended family holiday and wow what an amazing start to our time in Greece.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is beautiful but what makes this restaurant extra special is the truely outstanding service. I would like to say a special thank you to Dora for going above and beyond to make our evening so special. I am sorry I didn’t get the names of the her co workers but they were all wonderful, especially her young male assistant and the bar tender.
