Taverna Agriogiannos — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

We stopped by this quaint local neighborhood restaurant after arriving on the ferry from Santorini. The smell drew us in and we knew we were in the right place when we were greeted by the owner (?). She gave us a review of the menu and we asked if we could get takeaway. She pleasantly stated “Sure!” Our meal was ready in 15 minutes while we had drinks and she was very friendly…asking where we were from, teaching us a couple of Greek words.
