Nicely situated with a view over the bay, a short walk from the main street. Table service excellent. We stopped here late afternoon after exploring the streets of Paleochora during siesta time, & now in need of some liquid refreshments. Excellent mojito. Also a good range of other cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic beverages, coffees & teas. Clearly a place frequented by locals, so must be good. Scala is a bar prominently located on the Paleochora pier, named after the stairs that once existed there leading down to the water.

You can sit here in the shade of a canopy and watch village life. If it gets windy, the guests are protected from wind and weather by transparent roller shutters.

Late stop for a coctail. Cocktail was good but no menu available. Only via an app but not everybody takes his phone everywhere. Also app was not available on the table and if you leave your phone in the hotel you just have to guess what they have. Or the girls had to go and ask. At least print 1 or 2 menu's in case somebody wants them would...
