Almanac Cafe n’ Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Amazing Service and Amazing Food! We stopped off at this bar/café on the way to see Hippocrates tree and we're so glad we did.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the famous Kos hospitality, a smile and warm welcome in excellent English.

We only went for one drink to refresh but after viewing the menu, we couldn't help ourselves and we had ice cream and Crêpes. You have to try these! They were so delicious.

The food and drinks were so cheap for the amount we got.

To make this already perfect visit even better. We had a visit from the local cats who just wanted a fuss and to say hello.

The view we had was stunning, we could've spent hours there and before we leave Kos we are planning to return.

Very pleasant place to visit. We have been to Kos 3 times in all in the last 25 years approximately and it still has the same owner. Although it is 11 years since we last came he remembered us! Friendly atmosphere, clean and very efficiently run. Maybe we will be back visiting Kos again and maybe he will still be there. The Almanac has that inviting appeal which some places do not. Great bar with wonderful team. Always welcoming. Very patient and well mannered lads working every night. Atmosphere is relaxing.
