Limanaki — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

They said first day of the year for the opening, but we got sick in 30 minutes after the dining. We had mushrooms with garlic, garlic bread, dolmadakes, chicken gyros and chicken kalmanaki/souvlaki. Something was very, but very wrong. It is now 8 hours later in the night and our stomach and intestines are not doing well. The chicken souvlaki was also burned, the taste was not good. It also looked that it was grilled 2 times and very long stayed on the counter something. Because the souvlaki were sticked together, but a fresh souvlaki must be very easy to remove from the stick. That was not the case, instead it was very hard. So, again. Disappointed, I had more expectations for this place.

The service was nice. That’s why I give full 5 stars. The atmosphere was okay, but too loud and stinky with all that speed going motor/cars.

I was also very disappointed when I saw in the kitchen that the gyro comes from a box!!!...

We visited this restaurant 3 times on our week long stay at Kos. I was looking for a good stifado and I got just that! The meat and onions were juicy and tasty, I'd highly recommend to go to Limanaki restaurant if you are looking for a good stifado. Their mousaka was the best one I tried at Kos, it's soft and juicy, not dry like in the other places. If you like zucchini you should try their zucchini patties, those were lovely! The staff is really nice. After they close the kitchen they come and sit with the customers, chat with us and have fun and perhaps even offer a little drink. Authentic greek flavours, but they also offer pizza and pasta, so I think it would be a good place to visit with...

This restaurant is awful. The staff was very rude and arogant, we bought three gyros pita and they were annoyed that we only bought only that having the nerve to tell us is we want to get it on the go. But that’s not the worst part.. the gyros was absolutely disgusting the meat tasted very old and expired. Not to mention that i have a little kid who wanted chicken gyros but they brought us pork gyros that was disgusting in every way. But the “cherry on top” is that my kid literally puked from that utterly disgusting food. The poor little guy puked so much that is absolutely inhumane. I can’t recommend this restaurant don’t go there or even NEAR there. Also i hope my honest review...
