Special — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Great cafe bakery and nice ice creams served by staff that would prefer you were immediately un-alived. The food, coffee, bakery is all wonderful but the server literally throws the stuff at you like your utterly wasting his time. Its like having freddy kruger or ted bundy serving ice cream and cakes. You literally feel the contempt. Who knows what's going on here, but this person shouldn't be serving ice cream to the public, we watched as others were served in that same way with apparent utter revulsion, locals and tourists alike. The products are good and the comedy of this individual resenting his customers is bizarre and entertaining at the same time. Weird but ok, use somewhere else unless you're based next door, there are definitely more deserving restaurant and cafe staff very close by. We even tried to argue that we hadn't been charged for two breakfasts (we hadn't been) so here we are are 2 free breakfasts up and somehow we're still not worth the effort. Thanks for the breakfasts guys, we did try and insist you check and took payment. Would I go back? Yeah, it's...

Service was absolutely awful. Arrived in and all the tables were either full or dirty. We sat at a dirty table and had to wait 10-15 mins for it to be cleaned and they just continued to walk past us and ignoring us in those 10 mins. Ordered food then and it took 40 mins to arrive and when it did we were given no cutlery for another 5 mins while our food sat in front of us cooling down and in the end we had to get cutlery . Also noticed another table who had ordered food before us didn’t get their food until after us. Went to pay then and they as left standing at the till for 5 mins with no one coming near me. Food was lovely but the service was absolutely shocking should have more staff working than 2 or 3 and the staff that were working weren’t even that friendly there was no apologies...

I bought baked goods and coffee here, and it wasn’t a great experience.

I waited in line at the bakery while others collected drinks from the coffee side. There were two till points, so I assumed there were separate stations for coffee orders. After waiting for about 5-6 minutes with no assistance, a lady making coffee finally came to serve me. When I politely asked if I could order coffee at that station, she responded sarcastically, making me feel like an idiot. This happened in front of other customers, adding to the unnecessary rudeness.

There was no need for such behavior when I just wanted a nice breakfast.

Additionally, the danish pastries from ‘Special’ were not so special - they were dry and not worth buying again. The coffee was the only positive thing about...
