Read moreCan't comment on the food cause we never had a chance to order any. We sat down and tried to get the waiter's attention, but between putting tablecloths on empty tables and chatting with the only other two couples in the restaurant, it took him about 20 minutes to come to us. After looking at the menu we had a question about one of the dishes. Again we tried to get the guy's attention. He tells us, "in a minute" and goes to chat with another couple, then goes inside. After another 10 min of being ignored we just left. I want to emphasize that other than us, there were only two other occupied tables in the place. The restaurant wasn't busy.

Read moreSmall plate, tapas style. The grilled bread, is good. Nice crust and crispy but still soft. Grilled veggies and mushrooms are ok, not to get excited over. Local fried cheese is good. It was rich, warm, slight crust, mild sharp/tart flavor. The marinated anchovies pair great with the bread. It is salty but when balanced with the bread. Rich olive oil and a balsamic give a nice balance. Grilled mussels are tender and full of flavor from the sea. Paired with a tangy buttery sauce to add dimension. Sadly the grilled octopus is a huge let down. Overcooked, rubbery, in the main part of the tentacle, but burnt at the end.
Overall 3/5, maybe 3.5/5. The food is decent, but nothing to rave about. There are other places that do all these...
