Mezzemilos is a delightful dining spot in Pollonia, Milos, offering a modern twist on traditional Greek meze. From the moment you step in, the restaurant’s stylish decor and relaxed ambiance set the tone for an enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion.
The menu features a variety of creative meze dishes, each thoughtfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
We opted for the traditional Greek 500ml house wine, great value for money. This was followed by shared or taps style dishes, with the Dako salad, the chickpea balls (similar to falafels) yet unique different, with a softer texture and use of different herbs, the good old fries, and finished off with the grilled prawns which were delightful in a beautiful sauce and beautifully presented.
The service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to recommend dishes and pairings. They also offer a solid selection of Greek wines that complement the meal perfectly.
Mezzemilos strikes a balance between traditional and contemporary, offering a dining experience that feels both familiar and fresh.
While it’s not the cheapest option on the island, it’s also not expensive, as the quality of the food and the experience makes it worth the splurge.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Greek cuisine in a creative...
Read moreFrom the moment we stepped into Mezze Milos, everything felt just right. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, setting the stage for what turned out to be one of the more memorable meals we’ve had.
Food: Simply fantastic. Every dish we tried showcased fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and authentic flavor. The variety—from appetisers and spreads to seafood and meats—means there’s something for everyone, and each plate was a highlight. The balance of seasoning, texture and presentation was excellent.
Service: Absolutely superb. The staff were friendly, courteous, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed, contributing just as much to the enjoyment of the evening as the food did.
Value (Price‐Performance): Outstanding. The quality and portions more than justified the price. Considering how excellent the food was, and how well we were treated, the meal felt like a great deal. You get a lot for what you pay, which isn’t always easy to find.
Overall: If you’re on Milos and looking for a place that offers both culinary quality and warm, friendly service—without breaking the bank—Mezze Milos should be high on your list. We walked away not just satisfied, but genuinely...

We had to take the shrimp saganaki again (so good!) but the shrimp linguine and orange pie were also delicious. The white dry house wine is excellent as well. I'll try to return once more before we leave. Very good service, friendly personnel, and big portions! The seafood platter, grilled eggplant, fried zucchini, feta/peppers spread and pork belly were really good. The shrimp saganaki with fresh pita was the best I've ever had (it's my 8th time in Greece) and a must, if you come here!
The bruscheta (1 slice of bread cut in 3, with different toppings) was OK but pricy for what it offers. The chicken souvlaki was the only dish that was underwhelming for me. Missing the salt altogether and adding on the spot it's a headache. Due to big granulation it doesn't stick not taste the same as when it's added at the right time. It was quite dry. I also found the mayo a really bad pairing as it's really heavy. Take into consideration to replace or at least to add as option tzatziki.
I'd say it's the best restaurant we've tried, with the second...
