WARNING! You cannont bring the "cocktails to go" (also owned by Mosaic), which can be purchased on the street next to the restaurant, into the actual restaurant.
Full story: The cocktails sold inside the restaurant are 5€ more expensive than the ones you can purchase at the "to go" bar (9€ vs 14€ for the exact same drink), and you get a bigger glass at the "to go" bar! Absolutely rediculous! So knowing this, a group of us sat down at the restaurant, ordered food, then went to the "to go" bar to buy the cheaper drinks. When we came back into the restaurant, the waiter told us we can't bring the "to go" cocktails into the restaurant and that he will have to transfer the drinks from their plastic cups (which have the Mosaic logo on them) into glasses. Because the plastic cups were bigger than the glasses, they had to pour out some of the drink we already paid for! On top of that, they charged us an EXTRA FEE for bringing the cocktails into the restaurant! When we asked if we could finish the drinks outside the restaurant, we were told no. Unbelievable business practice!
Otherwise, the food was good, and the music was a great vibe, but the whole ordeal with the cocktails really left a bad taste for everyone...
Read moreOh man 😂 imagine how audacious to have to be rude and patronising to new customers (most of whom are older than you, so you’ve shown so little respect), and after doing that, to then basically force and shoehorn them (4 people) onto one tiny table (fit for 2 people) because you’re happy to lower your customer service experience, remove any shred of Greek hospitality from yourself and stake your reputation as a bar with new customers, for just an extra lil spot of cash??!…😂😂😂 that’s the experience we had with one of their waiters today. One is more than enough, and having him there shows what little care this place has for their own standards and potentially that it’s badly managed. Total joke of a place. If you’re an influencer with not very many standards for yourself and just there for the photo op, go here and enjoy, you’re who they want. If you’re not and you actually have standards for where you want to go, and you want proper customer service, a respectful environment and to have a nice drink and a nice time, avoid this place like the plague. There’s probably better spots that represent this amazing island’s people and hospitality a lot better than this. Milos is awesome, experience it for...
Read moreFirst of all, this place is only upstairs, we and some other visitors got confused and sat on the chairs beneath, which belong to another place that opens in the evening, so be warned. Brunch options were nice, we tried the sweet potato scrambled eggs and the spinach-mushroom open toast, both of which managed to satisfy our hunger. We also got the tsoureki with the praline, which.. I don't know, I'm greek and I think tsoureki should be soft, but this one was... crispily burned at the sides. I don't know if this was on purpose or not so I don't know whether I should judge it as a "mistake" or not. :P Staff was friendly, food did take a bit of time. The wind threw down one of our coffees, it was nice of the people to bring us a replacement, so extra...
