Piazza Castello Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Milos

We stayed there for 4 nights. I’m not sure I would recommend anyone to stay there. The view and location are incredible. The room itself is….not great. The air conditioner needs to be plugged in every time you go into the room , it’s noisy and loud and it takes forever to cool the room down. The towels they offer feel like hard sandpaper, the shower doesn’t drain very well and creates a musky smell, the TV doesn’t have any English options or streaming, it wasn’t a very comfortable or pleasant experience. The bathroom lighting is atrocious and there’s no full length mirror - doing makeup and getting dressed was very difficult. They only offer one bottle of water for the whole time and the room is up stairs on a hill so it’s not easy to access clean drinking water which was my biggest complaint. Like please just give us a bottle a day it can’t cost more than a dollar…..you don’t want to be in the room at all. The wifi is also horrible.

UPDATE in response to owner: Please don’t be misled by the owner’s response. We requested to cancel the booking almost immediately after making it, as it was a mistake. This was weeks before the scheduled stay. Despite our repeated efforts to contact them via phone, WhatsApp, and through Booking . co, we received no response. When they finally did reply, they said they would “see what they could do and sort it out,” but then disappeared again and never followed up. We made multiple genuine attempts to resolve this, but the owner chose to ignore us.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE RATS IN OUR ROOM AND AROUND THE PROPERTY! This place was a huge letdown. Looked great in the photos, but in reality we had rats running around the property and even inside our room. We saw them on the terrace and literally heard them in the walls at night - then actually SAW ONE IN OUR ROOM. It was honestly disgusting.

We’re not picky travellers and we’ve stayed in all kinds of budget places, but this crossed the line. The hygiene standards are clearly not being kept up and nothing was done about it. Totally ruined the experience. Wouldn’t recommend at all unless you’re cool with rats...
