Pasaji Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

I visited pasaji beach club with my friend, from London. We arrived at 9:40am and our sunbed booking was from 10am. On arrival the beach was empty but the attached restaurant had people eating. I approached the staff in the restaurant and the two women carried on their conversation with each other and just stared at me blankly as I approached them? They continued this right up until I reached them. When I told them I had a reservation etc they said the beach isn’t open till 10. And that’s it, there was no “you can wait here”, or even “hello how can I help you”. These women seemed to have forgotten they do actually work here? We finally got taken to the sunbeds at 10:15 where i had to ask for the menu three times. Then when it came to paying the server was wearing an ear piece and had so much attitude and arrogance. As I’m paying he’s speaking (laughing, joking) to his colleague through the ear piece and i m getting confused as I cannot tell when he is speaking to me.

I found this incredibly rude. Respectfully I’m not too sure what is so urgent as a beach attendant that you need to be taking payment from a customer while simultaneously speaking with someone else….

I found this was the case in most places in Mykonos the staff are extremely arrogant rude, there’s no: hello, good morning, please, thank you. My friend and I are extremely polite and far more respectful than half of the other clients.

My friend and I are well seasoned travellers having travelled Asia and the Middle East and Mykonos really highlighted that you cannot compare the service in the far east with Europe.

Pasaji management you really need to train your staff and remind them of their role. It’s not a good look to be snooty…we’ve travelled the world and I won’t stand for such disrespect from a beach club in...

Avoid !!! Ate there this evening and so disappointed! The only reason to give them a 1 star was delicious sushi so kudos to the Japanese chef everything else was a disappointment. As other reviews suggest, not only they will charge you 4e per person for the bread on arrival, but also bottle of water, which is brought to the table without question asked! We ordered sushi combo for starters which was really nice and we really enjoyed. To our surprise half through eating it the waiters arrived with our mains and take away the starter plates and serve our fish!!! They could clearly see we weren’t ready for it but served it anyway. Only 3 other tables were busy at the time so they have no excuse. They never apologize to us or offered at least a complimentary drink. The waiter didn’t show up after serving that main to top up the water or asked if we wanted more drinks as she obviously knew we weren’t happy. The decor for this place is lovely, they have a live dj and it’s a nice vibe. That is until you taste the food and experience the poor service, the waitress’ rolled her eyes when I asked if I could order a drink - I ordered a coca-cola and she never brought it. The others that brought our starters and mains were miserable and more interested in speaking to each other than being polite to customers (we weren’t the only ones who noticed this).

Unfortunately won’t be going back - we have enjoyed lovely meals here in Mykonos and Pasaji wasn’t one of them.
