“Decent but unmemorable “

Strong Positives : Nice location by the marina Friendly staff , good service Order-service times were as expected The food ingredients looked and tasted good ; burger was well cooked and the meat was properly prepared The salad chicken was very well cooked and prepared

Less Positive : The portions (burgers) were small , the fries also minimal ; this does not match the American grill concept at all. Two of our orders did not go through as the store run out of brisket The burger did not taste anything distinct ; I am not sure at all it included some of the ingredients that you can’t miss (truffle ) . The caramelised onions were too raw and. The salad had well cooked chicken but other than that it was rather poor in other vegetable ingredients

The plates and prices are good, but nothing special. The atmosphere could be better given their placement next to the sea. The service is terrible. Although we use to eat there with friends, a night when a lady of our company has a diet restriction, I took a simple and cheap sweet from a shop nearby. We were feeling very badly because all we had taken sweet except her. When they saw the sweet from the other shop they cited the law and didn't allow us to continue and sit there. We understand that they do not like it or it is not the best for their restaurant. However they could be more polite, not cite the law, and could appreciate our bills all these nights and our preference for their restaurant. Or they could be more polite only avoiding citing the law that was more than obvious that they had no idea about the laws, if you were there and listening to their words. Sloopy Joe Restaurant is situated at n the hottest area of Piraeus, in the middle of Marina Zeas zone, the most preferred one, just in front of the sea and the view you admire as you’re tasting the delicious food at Sloopy Joe, is white or black luxury yachts anchored in the blue sea, being shimmered by the yellow sun rays and the blue sky!!! The food you find here is really high class but in moderate low prices for all the quantity, presentation and quality they are served! You can find from burgers to ribs and qualitative meats, greek pitas, salads and amassing dressings and sauces for all these… The sweets are another specialty but I was full, I could taste only brownies deepened in white dressing special cream and the cheesecake which was baked and with a fantastic cherry jam topping… Let’s say that at Sloopy Joe you find one of the best places to eat in Piraeus and Athens… Highly...
