Chique, elegant restaurant right on the harbour front with very friendly staff. Neat menu with a wide selection of dishes.
F O O D The food is okay, but definitely not amazing. The bread sticks 🥖 could benefit from a touch more flavour, like herbs & oil The Arugula & Parmegiano Salad 🥗 is okay, if not smothered too much in sweet Balsamico The Branzino | Sea Bass is average and on the dry side The 2022 Malagouzia White is definitely not a dry white wine
I M P R E S S I O N And we know that Italians 🇮🇹 may not be Greeks 🇬🇷. So we understand if you do not show generosity through a free dessert 🍮 & raki 🥃. But then usually, Italians give you a glass of Limoncello 🍋 on the house. PORTOFINO offers neither ‼️🍋 - At EUR 70 for 2 people, you might want consider showing some base generosity towards your clients. They will remember and come back. NOTE - The upholstery would definitely benefit from a wash.
As for us, we have had better feed a few doors down on the strip and will keep returning there.
S U M M A R Y Beautiful restaurant on yacht row 🛥️ with good music 🎶 and friendly staff, that is not trying too hard to impress you with overly refined food. Pricing a touch too high for the...
Read moreIf your after a seafood experience.. look no further. After walking up and down the harbour we found this hidden gem at the end and it exceeded all our expectations. Amazing location, Fresh Seafood and Fanastic service what more could a local or traveler ask for.
Starter was a beautifuly slow cooked octopus on a light fluffy purée. We also shared the beautiful pot of Curried Mussels a must try. Dig in and get your hands dirty it sits beautifuly with a white or chilled red as recommended by the gorgeous waiters.
Mains where decidant and delicious. Pasta fresh and Al dente. Strong seafood flavour and aroma cooked with top quality seafood. Remindered me of my Nonnas pasta on a Sunday.
Restaurant was quite but staff where lovely, productive and knowledgeable. It was sad to see the restaurant not full of people. But it is only newly open. As a restaurant manager back in Australia I would change...

We had to wait about 25–30 minutes for the main dish, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. After finishing the pasta, we waited again for dessert, only to find out that they didn’t have enough tiramisu (they had 3 instead of the 5 we ordered). And shockingly, all three tiramisus had visible mold on them.
One of us ended up getting a cheesecake instead, which — to be fair — they said was absolutely delicious. But still, serving moldy dessert is unacceptable, especially in 40°C heat, where the risk of food poisoning is no joke.
At €25 for a main and a dessert, I really expected better. Sadly, I can’t recommend this place based on...
