Rocambolesco handmade Gelato & Brunch — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

I have been to this place 4-5 times. In general, the food is very good. The service was bad. The girl who took the order did not understand it. I mentioned that I would like to have Earl Grey tea with honey. I saw she was a bit confused. I explained it was black tea with bergamot. She did not clarify instead she went to the hostess to check what means Earl Grey. In 5-7 minutes they brought me a cold bottle of some red drink. I don't understand why not to come and double-check. I called the girl and she said I don't have that tea. So I had to ask just simple black hot tea. The girl brought it. But without honey. Again I had to ask to bring honey. When I finished my food, one waiter removed the plate and cutlery but no one brought a receipt for 15 minutes regardless that I mentioned I was finished. It would be great if the team could be trained and explained what to do it certain situations. It left a bad...

I am writing this review because due to this restaurant serving contaminated food, me and my husband got food poisoning. Today we had lunch at Rocambolesco sharing three dishes between 3 adults. Omelette burrito, Prosciutto focaccia and Peinirly. After 3-4 hours, two of us started feeling sick with symptoms of food poisoning. The two of us who have the symptoms shared the omelette burrito, the person without symptoms did not eat from this dish. Before or after this meal we did not eat any other food that could cause poisoning. I have already filed a complaint to the responsible authorities against Rocambolesco restaurant for serving contaminated food which caused us food poisoning. I do not reccomend Rocambolesco and I will never go...

I love this place. It's so beautiful to come enjoy time here on the marina with the views of the yachts and ocean. My wife and I have been here for brunch and lunch. Both were amazing. The eggs Benedict were absolutely gorgeous, but they were nothing compared to the bacon cheese burger I had yesterday. Honestly one of the best burgers I have tasted thus far. My wofe had the Chicken salad which was also delicious and with no oil which was great. Staff are always polite and friendly too. Plus unlike lots of other places, they know how to pour a beer....
