It was by far the best food we had in Rethymno. We even there 2 evenings in a row because the fish was so good and so well prepared. The 1st night, we had the grilled fish menu for 2 people with wine (only 30 euros total all included). The menu had 4 types of fish including sardines and sea bass. It was the best grilled fish plate I had. The 2nd night, we ordered the sea food salad which was delicious, some grilled fish plates, and fresh potato chips that were crunchy and home made. This restaurant really needs more publicity as it is a bit outside the touristy area of town, therefore it is not as visible as all the touristy tavernas where the food quality is average and the taste mediocre. I really hope that this restaurant will do well, because they really deserve it!

A hidden gem!! As expats but living in Athens, we try to find local rather than touristy places. We were so disappointed at some highly reviewed tavernas in town, but tonight we were so pleased. This place gives you all Greece offers, authentic, high quality, great value and hospitality… we wish we have found it earlier. The best meal in Crete for two trips from Athens so far. The generous amount of seafood appetizers platter and grilled fish were fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. Children enjoyed their fish burgers and pasta. Greek salad is the simplest must order for every place we go, and it speaks a LOT about the restaurant. The picture shows you how well it is assembled. 10 out of 10! Thank you!

We ordered the eggplant spread and bean spread. I ordered a seafood linguine but it came with spaghetti that was a touch over cooked. The seafood sauce was tasty. The service is a tad slow. My seafood linguine entree was served 10 mins earlier so but the time the other entree arrived, I had ate more than half the plate. The rockfish entree was good according to my dinner companion. I sampled a bite and it was ok. I don’t think the seafood is anymore fresher than other places we ate at.
