My Greek husband and I walked in and were impressed by the display – everything looked amazing, and the prices were clearly shown above the counter. We sat down and, before ordering, asked the waitress to confirm the prices because the ones on the menu at the table seemed higher.
We asked directly: "are the price the one on the display or on the menu?" She answered: "We changed recently, the one on the counter are the right one."
So we ordered one croissant with cream and one roll with biscuit cream. The taste? Heavenly. Truly delicious, generous fillings, and great quality. If the review were based on taste alone, it would easily be a 5/5.
However, when the bill came, we were asked to pay €10.20 — about €3 more than what we had clearly been told.
Unfortunately, that’s not okay. If we ask about the price and are told the counter are correct, then that should be the price we pay — no surprises at the end. I’m not saying it’s wrong to charge more for table service or to change prices, but clear communication is essential. I don't know if the waitress was new or she just misspoke, the problem stays.
We did receive an apology, but still — if you confirm a price, it should match the final bill. That’s the main reason for our 4/5 rating. All in all good......

We’re from the UK and frequently visit France, and these croissants are just as good as the French Patisserie ones! Portion is massive, staff were very friendly. I think we paid €5 for a crème patisserie croissant, and €6 for the pistachio one which we both agreed were very reasonably priced, especially when you compare this to regular city prices for artisanal baked goods. We both thought the one croissant was filling enough for lunch, especially if you were going to get a smoothie or one of their drinks too!
They also do savoury croissants, and croissants to order.
We didn’t get drinks as we got a massive bottle of ice water complimentary which was a really great touch. There are seats outside with views of the harbour also.
All in all would highly recommend and I’m sure my partner will think of this croissant daily until I...
Read moreOne word A M A Z I N G croissants, the best I have eaten for years (pistachio one is to die for) and for around 3 euros you get croissant from real butter with so much cream inside. If i compare it with 2,50-3 euros croissant from usual cafes that are terrible from frozen dough type of thing. BEWARE it cost more if you dine in coffees as well croissants, cheaper if take away. They recently opened so for the haters I am sure the brand new staff was just learning at that time. Staff is very attentive always smilling and coffee for me cappucino was excellent. As well the girl who owns the store going around and speaking with costumers is absolute delight. It is a pleasure to sit there on Sunday morning. Good luck with...
