Georges' grill house & seafood — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Stiamo soggiornando all’hotel faliraki premium (sconsigliato) in mezza pensione, la cena per l’appunto la consumiamo in questo posto pessimo che ci propone un menu misero e qualitativamente pessimo con personale altrettanto deludente e maleducato… La reception ci dice che avremmo potuto scegliere i piatti della lista ma le bibite oltre all’acqua sarebbero state a nostro carico. Arriviamo, ci sediamo e nessuno ci considera, alla fine prendiamo un Hamburger o meglio due patatine buttate nel piatto senza sale e surgelate, un hamburger piccolissimo e insapore accompagnato da una salsa non identificata. Da bere abbiamo preso una semplicissima acqua naturale, finita la cena ci alziamo e ci dirigiamo verso l’hotel dato che pensavamo che almeno l’acqua fosse inclusa dato il costo dell’albergo ma quello che credo sia il Maître ci insegue e ci dice “dovete pagare acqua”(3€ 70 cl). Noi diciamo va bene, ma avevamo lasciato i portafogli in stanza, quindi io gli dico che vado a prendere i soldi e i miei amici mi avrebbero aspettata lì e lui ci urla ”qua si beve, qua si paga”, difronte a tutti gli altri clienti. Ci siamo sentiti trattati da ladri e non è stato ne professionale ne educato! Esperienza terribile e anche se abbiamo pagato non ci torneremo più!! Vergogna.

We are staying at the Faliraki premium hotel (not recommended) on a half board basis, we eat dinner in this very bad place that offers us a poor and qualitatively bad menu with equally disappointing and rude staff ... The reception tells us that we could have chosen the dishes on the list but the drinks in addition to water would have been at our expense. We arrive, we sit and nobody considers us, in the end we take a Hamburger or better two fries thrown on the plate without salt and frozen, a very small and tasteless hamburger accompanied by an unidentified sauce. To drink we took a very simple still water, after dinner we get up and head to the hotel since we thought that at least water was included given the cost of the hotel but what I believe is the Maître chases us and tells us " you have to pay for water "(3 € 70 cl). We say okay, but we had left our wallets in the room, so I tell him I'm going to get the money and my friends would be waiting there and he yells at us "here you drink, here you pay", in front of all the other customers . We felt treated like thieves and was neither professional nor polite! Terrible experience and even if we paid we will not go back...

If there were an award for the worst restaurant ever, this place wouldn’t just win — it would instantly earn a spot in the Guinness Book of Records. What an absolute joke.

The spareribs? Two pathetic little bones with barely any meat — you’d need a magnifying glass to spot it. Covered in a sticky sauce that clings to your teeth like glue. One bite and you’re wondering if your dental work will survive the meal.

The “Caesar salad” was just as depressing. No dressing, no flavor, just a few limp leaves thrown on a plate. I wouldn’t even feed it to my rabbit, let alone serve it to paying customers.

In short: a complete waste of time, money, and appetite....

My starter was extremely poor but I finished it out of politeness of the company I was with, but when my main was served it was also extremely disappointing. After politely explaining to the service staff that my main was very poor, I was asked if I was in a bad mood. I was also asked if I complain everywhere I go, I haven't complained in a restaurant in about 8 years. This could have been calmly resolved but what followed was several combative and patronizing conversations. An argument could be made that I was offered an alternative main, however why would you order something else after x 2...
