Periklis Faliraki — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

My husband and I cannot recommend this family-run restaurant enough! Maria and family provided us with the most amazing food and chats. It was really lovely hearing about Greece and their traditions from locals. My husband and I ate there 3 times!!!

It was the best moussaka we had on the trip (or ever had!). You are doing yourself a disservice if you are in Faliraki and do not stop in here- even the prices were great! ENJOY!

Thanks again Maria and family, we will still tell our friends to go there in September- feel free to give them the moussaka, stifado and kleftiko recipes so they can give them to us hehehe...

Sitting here writing this after what might have been the best soul filling food I’ve had on a holiday in a long time. We always prepare before a holiday to make sure we can find the best vegan options around but didn’t have time before this trip. My wife wanted Greek food and I wanted dolmadakia and this gem was only a 5 min walk from our hotel. The service is welcoming and you are treated like family. The food literally tastes like yiayia cooked it while you were at the beach all day. The whipped potato garlic dip literally stole my heart while the giant beans (on garlic toast) stole the show! 😍...

Amazing Food and Service at Periklis Taverna

Periklis Taverna in Faliraki is a gem! Their gluten-free pasta was delicious, and the mixed grill and fresh sardines were fantastic. The dolmas were authentically Greek and full of flavor. The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, the prices are very fair for the quality you get. A must-visit in Rhodes!
