We were there to eat in the evening and the waiter was quite formal, not friendly, although it was very empty.

Attempt to steal (scroll down for food): After we left, we went to a games store. My brother realized he forgot his jacket in the restaurant. He ran bank for it, then returned saying he didn't find it and was told he had none when he was there. We were all very sure he had it. So we went bank together to check. I inspected the table and plants around. The waiter came and looked there to. Then said "where have you been before? He had no jacket". I trusted him and we went to the beach to look there. Half way my brother said he was sure he had it when we checked the dishes and that the waiters behaved guilty when he first came. He ran back alone. And he actually found it. He saw the nike label hidden in a small place behind the oven. He asked about it and the cook tried to lie to him again. Then he just stormed the kitchen and got it. It was his. The cook tried to lie but was unsure what to say. We came back to the shop to complain after 10 mins. Only the bar was open, waiters and cook disappeared. I went to the bar and asked for the rest of the staff. Then for the owner. The owner was extremely unfriendly. Instead of apologizing in any form, he was attacking me verbally for being loud around customers. "I find your behavior inappropriate" he said. I just said it was more than adequate to the situation. Not one time he tried to soften the situation. All we heard was that we were behaving wrong and had to get out of his place. Incredible. No idea how that place survived. No good service or food, barely a customer there.

Food: We ordered starters. 2 dishes. One which was Tzaziki with pita and one was Hummus with Pita. Got only one plate of Pita and had to pay extra for another plate of Pita, which was obviously necessary.

As main dishes we ordered 2 Salads, chicken and salad of the house, plus one Pizza. It took forever to get the main dish, although nearly no other customers were there. The pizza came even later because "it was broken" - aha. At least my brother said it tasted ok. The chicken in the one salad was incredibly dry. Hard to eat. The salad of the house was not eatable at all. It was literally drown in super sweet sauce. The first bites were ok, but eating anything from below the "water level" was impossible. I had a sip of coke to "neutralize the sweet"....

We were a group from Portugal, Poland, Serbia and Holland having fun around Faliraki. Nektarios kindly approach us one evening and gave us the best tips in town, as we had dinner before, he invited us to take a snack and try the large selection of beers. The amazing service of Nektarios and George made us come everyday for 8 days (it looks insane), but once you explore the menu, you will realise that you can have different and delicious snacks/meals everyday. We had different preferences including vegan, vegetarian and Fotis exceed all our expectations ! The best gyros in town is here for about 3eur, beer is pretty cheap and the service from those two guys are unequaled. Roumeli is easily one of the best spots in Rhodes for authentic gyros and quick, delicious Greek food! The portions are generous, the pita is soft and fresh, and the meat is perfectly seasoned and juicy. I loved how everything was packed with flavor and paired with crispy fries right inside the wrap exactly how a proper gyro should be.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to grab food whether you’re sitting down or taking it to go. Service was quick and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size you get.

We tried both pork and chicken gyros, and both were excellent. Pairing them with a cold Mythos beer made the meal perfect.
