Joni's Place — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I went on an all inclusive holiday to Greece for our honeymoon in April . When venturing out to explore Greece, we had Friendly conversation with a gentleman that I later found out was called yanis, the owner of the bar. He told us he would put West Ham for us later that day. We returned later were we then met an equally friendly lady Bruna the wife of yanis the other owners. I can confirm both these people have become mine and my husbands friends. From the moment I stepped through the door these two couldn’t do enough for us. They go above and beyond for everyone and do it always with a smile on their faces. The food is beautiful and the beer is always cold!

6 months later, I’m now sitting back in the bar, drinking a cold beer with these two incredible people. We booked another holiday to come back to see them both and we will continue to do this yearly, I cannot recommend this place more. To go on an all inclusive holiday and spend every evening over the bar shows how fantastic this place is. Thank you to you both for as always a fantastic trip, your truly are both our friends...

Joni's Place was the first meal I had while on my holiday to Rhodes. My siblings and I had arrived later than expected to Rhodes due to our flight delay, and were desperately looking for somewhere to eat at 11pm at night! We were really pleased to see that Joni's Place (which looked nice from the outside) was open, and serving hot food! The owner "Joni" welcomed us warmly, and immediately took our drink order, and brought us ice-cold drinks along with chilled glasses! Joni kindly recommended some dishes on the menu, and let us know if we needed anything to just ask him. We didn't have to wait very long for our meals, which were prepared by the cook "Bruna" who is also the wife of Joni. The restaurant is family ran, and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food we had was absolutely delicious, and presentation, portion size, and price were all excellent. 😍After feeling such a warm welcome here on our first evening, we continued to frequent this little family run bar, always genuinely appreciative of your custom, this gentleman greets you with a warm handshake, beautiful hospitality is extended with a complimentary bowl of nuts to nibble on whilst you enjoy your favourite poison. Here you can watch the flights overhead coming into Rhodos airport, whilst the sun goes down over this beautiful island. This gent has an awesome genuine respect for his customers and verbally extends his gratitude, we Thank you for making our holiday most memorable, and should our lifes journey bring us back to Rhodos we shall definitely come and seek you out, till then take care...
