Asked the waiter about the steak before ordering, and got the answer: “just like I told you” hmmm. But ok, vacation modus, so let’s put it on the language barrier. Wine was served pretty quick, 26 EUR for a Chardonnay is decent. And the local wine was tasted and approved. Food was brought to the table; Pizza was dry and tasteless with “fresh basil” Peris, the signature steak, it’s not a steak. It was cooked and served with a creamy sauce topped with onion, canned jalapeno and mushrooms. Don’t get me wrong, the meat was really good, but steak? Nope, that would be calling a VW Golf an Audi……. Waited 25 min to be allowed to pay, got served 2 complimentary local drinks. During the whole stay, it was never more than 3 tables set...
