Just on our last day at Posidonia Hotel Apartments, we have had a wonderful holiday… rooms are very spacious, a little dated some would say and the kitchenette could do with updating but was adequate for us… the balcony was huge.. we were in a 3 bedroom apartment.. the position of the 3rd bed was directly in the flow of the air conditioning so my son was cold and if we turned it off we were hot… plenty of blankets in the cupboard solved the issue, Air conditioning was great and free which was a lovely surprise, cleaners came in everyday to clean and change towels except Sundays… my only gripe was I had a bottle of perfume go missing! Pool area is great here but be warned you need to set a morning alarm for around 6am to get a bed! I’m not one for putting towels on the sunbeds but if you want a bed you need to, we were caught out on 2 days, came down at 10 for the pool and all beds were taken… I then got up early the next day, 8am came down and the beds had still all got towels on… shocking really. Pebbles Beach is just across the road, it’s a very busy road and cars don’t stop at the crossings unless you step out into the road, like I say it’s a pebbles beach but sandy in the sea, we purchased some swim shoes so we could get over the bricks with ease. This hotel is in a perfect location.. we went into Rhodes town quite a few times, we got a taxi which was €14, old town is beautiful, also had a walk into Ialysos, nice little town, walked along the beach back to our hotel. If you like to look at views and buildings I recommend at trip to Symi, beautiful place. All in all we have a lovely stay and will...
Read moreI will start with the positives||The staff are all fantastic and friendly from reception bar staff restaurant and cleaning. The hotel and pool are was spotless. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard. ||Negative ||Food was very repetitive on all inclusive and was always cold no matter what time you went in to the restaurant not much choice either mainly caters for European guests. The snack bar was a joke food was put in around 11.30 am and not replaced all day even though staff will tell you different most of the food in the snack bar was from breakfast as well this food was also stone cold ||The rooms don't have enough plug sockets. No kettle in the room you have to request one. We had a 2 bedroom apt and on arrival we went into the room which was advertised as having a sofa bed in the lounge it doesn't and was quite small as well I did complain and was advised that a sofa bed was in the twin bedroom there was 2 single beds so when we went back to the room one of the beds had been put as a sofabed. The lounge/kitchen area was tiny with only a sink fridge and 2 rings to cook and not much room for a family to sit the bedrooms were quite big so poorly designed rooms.||Pool was very cold and entertainment was a bit...
Read moreRegarding our recent seven-day stay, we offer the following observations:
Positive Aspects:
The staff provided commendable service and were consistently helpful. The pool area was well-maintained, and the pools offered a refreshing alternative to the sea. The all-inclusive package, priced at 36 euros per person per day, provided satisfactory value, with lunch being a particular highlight. Breakfast offered was standard. Our room provided a great view. Daily housekeeping ensured fresh linens and towels. The hotel readily arranged for taxis, with prompt arrival times. Securing sunbeds was generally manageable, although prime locations were quickly occupied.
Areas for Improvement:
The room lacked sufficient electrical outlets near the bed; we recommend guests bring an extension cord. Our sea view room on the third floor exhibited signs of age and required more thorough cleaning, including attention to corners and black mold in the bathtub seal. The air conditioning remote control was problematic, and the temperature setting was fixed at 18°C. The shower configuration over the bathtub was unconventional. The absence of dish soap, despite the expectation of dishwashing, presented an...
