Royal The yard of taste — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

After being badgered to come in for some food we were shocked at how miserable the tall guy was it was like a scene from faulty towers. No one came to assist us not sure where the chef was from as they couldn't cook properly . I asked for bruschetta and what I got was a bit of bread and tomatos on it , no garlic, no pesto nothing like what it should have been. Partner had a burger it looked raw in the middle and not very nice, salad was the size of a 50p piece. Asked if they could take a photo of us and basil (faulty towers) ordered us to order our food first and then just walked away never to be seen again. The assistant which we will call Manuel muttered under his breath each time potential clients walked by. When we finally got maneuls attention for the bill he asked how the food was I told him sarcastically that it was the best I ever had even though I needed extra balsamic vinegar just to give it some sort of a flavour and make it edible. We swiftly declined ice creams and headed up the road to our favourite sports bar where the food is spot on and staff very attentive and friendly All in all wouldn't recommend this place felt more like a day out at borstal than a restaurant. We were looking for a place to eat saturday evening (7th July 2018). We sat down at their resturant and waited for 10 minutes before the waiter even came and gave us the menu. We Ordered food and sat there for 1 hour and 15 minutes only waiting. The owner came to our table multiple times with excuses.

When we got the food, the owner came to our table 4-5 times and started talking about all kind of stuff. Everyone around looked and laughed, and I could not stop laughing myself.

Hi guys. Thank you very much for a beautiful and quiet sitting in your beautiful restaurant. You are very nice and helpful. We were happy to return there during our vacation. Excellent and friendly atmosphere. Good drinking cocktails, beer and great food (see photo) .When you go around this restaurant, do not hesitate and go sit.
