We visited this restaurant on 28.12, drawn in by the glowing reviews on Google. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The place was bustling, which initially seemed like a promising sign. The menus were brought to us right away, but unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended.
What followed was an incredibly frustrating 25 minutes of waiting—just for someone to take our order. Despite deciding what we wanted fairly quickly, we found ourselves ignored while every table around us was being served. We tried to catch the staff’s attention multiple times, making eye contact and even directly asking for assistance. My husband asked twice, and I asked once, only to be told each time that someone would come “in an instant.” That instant never came.
Eventually, we had enough and decided to leave. On our way out, I mentioned to the server that if they can’t handle the volume of customers, they shouldn’t invite more people to sit. Instead of an apology, I was met with a dismissive “Fine, have a good day.” This summed up how they seemed to view their customers: as expendable.
It’s a shame because the initial impression was so positive. But poor service—and especially a lack of accountability—can completely ruin a dining experience. If this restaurant continues to take its customers for granted, I suspect their stellar reputation won’t last...

Read moreWow, not sure where the positive reviews are coming from. For reference I'm an Orthodox priest (and dressed as such) we went in with my whole family.
Service was clearly in the "we'd prefer you not dine here" category. We noticed that a large party that came in after us were greeted promptly and courteously, while we were practically snubbed. Maybe they didn't like that we were Americans?
We ordered 8 entres, all of which were incredibly meager and not at all "greek". Bland and poorly thrown together. The lamb chops were literally all fat and gristle. Another point of reference, I both love fat and gristle and I'm lebanese, so this is not an "American" who is picky take. I will say that the saganaki was well made as was the baked feta.
They brought us things we did not order and then tried to charge us for them. They are probably used to getting away with this with Western patrons.
If I lived in Greece I certainly wouldn't give them anymore business. They could take some lessons from their relatives in Chicago where they know how to...
