A quiet unpretentious Greek restaurant hiding behind a Byzantine church in the middle of downtown, it's not crowdy like other restaurant but the food turn out to be very fresh and delicious, the grilled fish was cooked just long enough so the inside is very tender, with just right amount of salt and seasoning, it's just a perfect example showing how simple dish can please your taste buds but not overwhelm it. The grilled vegetables is equally delicious and well balanced. I have eaten in this restaurant twice, haven't tried the meat dish yet but I will definitely try it when have chance. The menu is big and feels intimidating for someone like me not knowing much Greek, but the owner Chris is very friendly helping me pick the dish. In short, my favorite restaurant in Thessaloniki...

Exceptional service with a very wide variety of dishes ranging from fish to meat. We tried fish/seafood. The taste was very good and the prices normal taking into account the plates ordered and the variety. Particulalry the risotto was particularly tasty and made to order not just re-heated. The owner ans chef is a very likable guy who will come around and ask if you liked the food. There is a variety of drink options to accompany your meal ... we went for bottled tsipouro but wine also seemed a sensible choice. you have to try this local place when in thessaloniki. we were recommended to have a dinner there by a local barber. the chef himself took a time to explain us all the dishes and paired the wines for us. they have dailys specials....but these are more like the whole new menu every day. it was so good we came back the next day both for the delicious food and the wine. great service, great food. the palce is "hidden" behind a small church what gives it a special atmosphere especially at night. otherwise it's on a busy egnatia street just in the city center but still its a quite place to have a nice dinner(we were outside both our visits). definitely will come...
