We sat here for a short break after a long walk around Thessaloniki, looking for a place with a free table, a view of the sea and the sunset. It was February, but a very nice and warm day... The place is unpretentious. Everything was more or less ok once you get used to the hustle and bustle of waiters and passers-by - so, as it should or is expected in a cafe like this. We drank non-alcoholic beer (nice that they have it on offer) and fresh orange juice with lots of ice (which wasn't that nice). Prices were normal. After a few minutes of watching the sunset, it all becomes irrelevant, it all...

Playing live close to you. REAL close. Like, right next to you. In the SAME table. So... yeah.. That's nice for a few minutes but then your ears bleed cuz you can't hear whoever you went with and have to scream to each other instead of relaxing with a drink.

Sind hier spontan vorbeigekommen bei einem Spaziergang am Wasser und haben uns auf ein Getränk in die Bar gesetzt. Es gibt Tische drinnen und draußen, wobei man draußen direkten Meerblick hat. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Cocktails, das scheint auch die Spezialität der Bar zu sein. Aber auch andere alkoholische Getränke sind im Angebot, sowohl von Bier, als auch von Wein ist eine große Auswahl vorhanden. Wir haben uns für einen Negroni sowie ein Sol Bier entschieden. Das Sol war zwar auf der Karte, wir wurden aber darauf hingewiesen, dass es nicht mehr angeboten wird. Als Alternative wurde uns Millers empfohlen. Zu den Getränken wurden kostenloses Leitungswasser und eine kleine Schale Chips serviert. Der Negroni hat gut geschmeckt. Es wurde passender Gin verwendet. Angerichtet wurde schlicht aber passend. Auch das Bier hat gut geschmeckt, wenngleich die Empfehlung nicht ganz gestimmt hat, dass es ähnlich wie Sol schmecken würde. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat gutes Englisch gesprochen. Die Preise sind nicht ganz günstig, aber wir sind hier eben auch direkt am Wasser. Daher aus unserer Sicht OK.
