A Fascinating Culinary Experience at Surupo in Imerovigli

We had a truly wonderful evening at Surupo, located in a stunning setting in Imerovigli. The restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the sunset, which we were able to enjoy in full while dining — an experience that’s hard to put into words.

The service was outstanding, professional yet warm, and the wine selection featured some of the finest local wines, clearly curated with care. The modern fusion cuisine was the real highlight, impressing us from the very first bite.

We started with the Fish Carpaccio and the Seabass Ceviche — both appetizers were perfectly balanced with fresh acidity and beautifully presented. The flavors were clean, vibrant, and showcased the quality of the ingredients.

For the main course, we had the Seabass Risotto with spinach and the 300g Rib Eye steak. Both dishes were exceptional — the risotto was creamy and well-balanced, and the rib eye was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. Absolute dream dishes.

Surupo is more than just a restaurant — it’s a complete experience. From the location and view to the quality of the food and the sophistication of the wine list, everything was at a very high level. It stands out clearly from the many standard restaurants in the area.

I planned a proposal at Surupo and they helped with every bit along the way, including accommodating a beautiful table, hidden photographer and wonderful food. She said yes!

The restaurant is new, in the quieter village of Imerovigli and has breathtaking views of the sunset.

The food was fantastic. We had ceviche with pomegranate and the lamb. Both of which were top notch and impressive.

The staff was super accommodating and made our experience lovely.

They even brought out blankets for the ladies at sunset.

My husband and I visited during our honeymoon and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, everything was incredible — the food was outstanding, the cocktails were crafted beautifully, and the staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for.
