Aqua Luxury Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I'm just going to do this review, for whom it can help, so you don't go through the same bad experience that my husband and I went through. It was my 30th birthday, and we wanted it to be special, we travel regularly twice a year, to Europe, we love it, it was our first time in Santorini, we came from Mykonos, and we wanted something extremely special and unique, which I was looking for a lot Before booking this hotel, which I did 4 months in advance, that was the mistake, which I later went to see the recent reviews, and many cases similar or almost the same as ours. Arriving at the reception, the treatment was incredible, Maria attended us, who was really very kind, I said I arrived at the ideal place, which I now realize was to pretend and try to make us stay later when they send us with the trunk, to the room, I was in a panic, I was like, where is the room that I reserved? the room you pay for? the room that I imagined that I was going to make the one of my dreams, I can tell you that we literally could not walk, nor open our suitcases, my husband and I, we have gone to many hotels and even cheaper hotels throughout Europe and nothing to do with what They gave us, which was also not what I bought, the photos that were shown in the reservation were others, there was no jacuzzi, there was no view, badly a window, something that anyone could cry the truth. Well, nothing kindly call reception again and I explain that I reserved a double room with a view, with a jacuzzi, in short I show him my voucher, which they did not care about, I call a supposed boss, superior, which did not work either, the most What they could offer me was paying an extra $100 for a larger room, a room that also had no view, no jacuzzi, or anything for which I had paid. They already refused to help me. I tried everything, I even told them I would pay for it and they told me that they did not have availability, which is not my fault, because they sold me one thing and gave me another, in short, I did not give up, I searched the website and if They had it available, I had to pay practically $480 for half the night because they said that new guests were arriving the next day, and to make matters worse, the jacuzzi did not have a nice view, in short, I do not recommend this hotel at all, the worst money paid in my life. Much more beautiful in the surroundings and cheaper. Do not trust the photos, one thing is what they offer and another...

To say this place exceeded my expectations would be a dramatic understatement. Aqua is a GORGEOUS facility in the picturesque town of Imerovigli. We saw MANY resorts on Santorini, and the view/location we had at Aqua seemed to be the best available. Our suite was clean, well-decorated, luxurious, and exclusive. We were even upgraded to a nicer suite at check-in, which was a pleasant surprise! The photos don't do the place justice. The view from our bed -or from the heated plunge pool - was stunning. I can't stress enough just how wonderful the staff is at this resort. Anna Maria, in the reservations department, was willing to work out every detail and every issue we ran into for a week straight prior to our visit (Travel issues, not resort issues. Our experience with the resort was seamless throughout). Manos at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable, and was happy to guide us and assist us at any time with EVERY request, small or large. He handled everything from calling businesses to see if they were open, to reserving seats on tours/cruises, to booking a rental car for us and having it delivered to the resort. Overall, fantastic person to have at your disposal, and he added tremendous value to the experience. Our groom, Kostas is a tireless worker, making sure all guests' needs are tended to without delay -- and taking great pride in that mission! He walks easily 5 miles a day, up and down the stairs of Santorini, and yet he's still happy to assist you with whatever you need! And with a smile! It was always a pleasure when he arrived to deliver breakfast or clean up outside our suite. The breakfast, by the way, was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. They give you way more food than you could ever eat (hand-delivered to your room!), every bit of it is Michelin Star quality, and it's completely free. DEFINITELY something we looked forward to every day while we watched the sunrise from our 95°F pool. There's no question that we will stay...

Our stay at the Aqua Luxury Suites has been unreal!|It has ticked all the boxes of the luxury hotel - breathtaking views, modern and super clean suites, amazing customer service, great location, delicious food! We started our experience with warm greetings by beautiful Christina, then complimentary delicious breakfast and earlier check-in. Friendly Flamur has been very helpful with our heavy luggage and various tips to make our stay more pleasant.|Our special gratitude is to beautiful Chrysa the manager who has been so kind to us by upgrading our original booking to an amazing suite with the best views you can ever imagine!! The whole experience was like a dream! Chrysa has shown a real customer service approach by responding and actioning all our queries straight away via whatsap. Also, thank you Eri and team for your wonderful service with the breakfast. There were some great options for vegetarians. We have modified some dishes to accommodate our dietary requirements and result was excellent. The breakfast was brought to our suite every morning on trays and beautifully served on veranda where we enjoyed our delicious food and breathtaking views!  ||We really liked the Imerovigli area as it was quiet and private compared to super busy and crowded Oia. To explore the island, you can either take a taxi or you can have a 20m pleasant to Fira and enjoy the amazing views on your way. Fira has plenty of shops and cafes. Then you can take a 20m bus to Oia which will cost you 2 Euros and it goes every 30m. ||Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Santorini.|Thank you Chrysa and the team for the beautiful experience which we will treasure forever...
