We passed by the restaurant 2 nights in a row. Even though all the other restaurants were full, with people waiting to get a table, this was both times the only one 80% empty. This was a big signal for me, but since my husband really wanted a steak, I agreed to sit there (another mistake I did was not checking the reviews beforehand, because reviews NEVER lie). We sat down and ordered a steak and asked that, instead of potatoes we get grilled vegetables. The waitress was insisting on the potatoes as they “don’t do changes to the menu”. We explained that due to health issues we cannot eat potatoes and we want the grilled vegetables as it was already put as a side dish for another type of steak (so they actually have it in the menu). The lady seemed weird after we told her that, so after she placed the order in the kitchen, we insisted to know whether they will change the potatoes to vegetables. She said it is not possible. We therefore asked to pay for our drinks and leave. The owner/manager came to inspect what is happening, and he was convincing us that they cannot accommodate to our nutrition need as they do not have grilled vegetables at all. My husband asked him why it is then listed as a side dish with the Tomahawk, and he said it is a mistake in the menu. Dear Sir, you cannot have mistakes in your menu (if that is even true). You are legally bound to deliver what you claim in the menu, just as i am legally bound to pay the price i am shown before i order. From high-end gourmet restaurants, to little village tavernas, we have NEVER experienced a restaurant refusing to accommodate such a small request due to our health needs. On the contrary, they often made special dishes to make sure we can enjoy the food, while not violating our dietary restrictions. To the restaurant- I suggest you reexamine your operations, and ask yourselves why, of all the restaurants in Parga, you are the one with such poor reviews and half empty restaurant. Continuing to ignore the feedback of your customers can only lead you down one road- it is entirely up to you if that will change or...
Read moreThis is a lovely restaurant next to the pier with three floors with fantastic views. We started with some appetizers which were delicious: Mussels were amazing (don't forget to ask for the bread to dip in all of the garlicky goodness), baked feta cheese in filo dough was incredible with just a touch of honey to make it savory with a slight sweetness, and the fried zucchini balls which was the low point because it had a lot of dill which can be overpowering.
The sushi menu is the star of the show for this restaurant!!! They don't focus on it but man the sushi chef is fantastic. The fish is so fresh that it melts in your mouth. Highly recommend both the salmon sashimi and the tuna sashimi. We also ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll which was delicious. If you love fresh sushi, do not miss...
Read moreBeautiful two-storey luxury building, with a stylishly greco-classicist interior, of which a spacious shaded terrace with a nice view of the Parga harbour is the soi-disant "innovative Ionian" "Mediterranean" restaurant, opening at 15:00 and almost ready to receive customers around 17:00. Most standard Greek dishes are not on the menu; the tzatziki or Caesar salad are apparently made by another cook, as the main-course fish ("fresh salmon") is dry, tough and so salted as to be unedible. Small portions without greens, rice or potatoes, at elevated prices; no fresh fruits, only Fanta. The rows of empty tables, the lacklustre demeanor of the young and seemingly inexperienced staff, and the look of bewildered surprise from the head waiter when receiving a tip -- it all points in the...
