Several reviews calling this place tourist trap was spot on. The only thing going for this place is the view in front of the boats and sunset, but that’s a pretty low bar as virtually so many restaurants has the same view. They advertise Farm to Table, but having spent my younger life in the restaurant industry I can tell you their vegetables are not fresh; for example, there is no aroma to the dill and it took several seconds of biting into the herb before you could taste that it’s dill. Their seafood is also not fresh; it’s imported from Athens. Food amount is also lacking; so many restaurants nearby will give you more portion for the same/less price. Honestly, the place is a mess; they say it takes an hour to bring the main dish out, but we sat down at 8:15pm and they didn’t bring the main dish out until 9:45pm. I ordered sea bream and they brought me a cheap fish substitute, but once it’s cooked you can’t really tell what that fish is (I only recognize from the taste and it’s also a common trick that many restaurants pull). I was in the middle of eating the fish and a girl brought it away. The table next to us were also brought salmon that they didn’t order because the waiters didn’t know where to bring the food -.-
Another scam they pulled is bringing out the more expensive wine (even though we ordered a different variety). What was supposed to be 16 euros became a 24 euros wine bottle. The final straw is when it came to paying the bill, the waiter didn’t let me choose whether to charge in USD or Euros and automatically charged me in USD, which meant that I was charged a 3.9% currency conversion fee on top of the bill. When I asked him why he chose USD, he said with an angry tone that he chose euros like I accused him. Well guess what? The receipt shows he chose USD as shown in the picture. This person did the same thing to the ladies sitting in the next table and we were all discussing how scammy this place is and that we are never coming back.
We urge everyone to read the negative reviews about this place and how it scammed diners. I ain’t got time on my vacation to write an in-depth review unless I really try to watch...
Read moreI first went to Aeoli almost a week ago, and when I say since my first experience there, I have LITERALLY gone there EVERYDAY, I genuinely mean it! The food is superb, just lovely, very fresh, everything made in the restaurant by their talented chefs! One of the other major reasons I kept going back was the lovely atmosphere and beautiful scenery that you can take advantage of when you eat there, and the extremely friendly and always smiling staff, who genuinely make sure to give you recommendations they personally know well and love, and are patient to help you with anything you need! An absolute MUST VISIT for anyone coming to Paros! I will be spending the next few weeks here, which means I have a chance to try everything else on their menu, very exciting 😂 even when I share videos of the food on my own instagram many people reply saying how amazing the presentation is and how much they wish they were there to also enjoy the food haha!!! If you are interested to see their food, just check out their instagram page!! Thank you to the lovely team behind this amazing place, see...
Read moreAeoli Restaurant quickly became our favorite spot in Paros, and we ended up dining there several times during our stay. The food was consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The setting by the harbor is perfect – right next to the water, with beautiful views of the island and breathtaking sunsets that made every evening special.
The service was excellent each time we visited, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He mentioned that some of his staff have been working there for over 30 years, which really speaks to the positive atmosphere and how well the restaurant is managed.
Overall, Aeoli offers not only fantastic food but also a warm and memorable dining experience. Watching the sunset by the harbor while enjoying dinner there is something we’ll always remember. We can’t...
