Alaea Resto — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

We entered the restaurant and politely said hello, but were practically ignored by the staff. No one welcomed us or guided us to a table properly. After sitting down, we waited over 15 minutes without receiving a menu. Other guests who arrived after us were served immediately, which made us feel completely overlooked.

We eventually had to ask if we could get a menu. The waiter didn’t apologize — instead, he simply asked if we’d be paying by card or cash, as if we were already done.

When we went inside to pay and asked if we could take something away, he sighed in frustration. To top it all off, he asked for a tip afterward, despite the poor service.

It's a good place yet too much slow service. The people at first seem rude yet to understand that there are only 2 people for all restaurants surrounding. It took 20 min, maybe to take our order, yet service came fast, and food was good. The fish is fresh, and the fried zucchini is amazing. Octopus was good and needed more to be tender yet good. Disappointing experience. The fish was frozen and lacked freshness, making the high prices unjustifiable. Charging €8 for a bottle of water is outrageous. The staff was rude and unaccommodating.
