Spiti House Bar — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

Sativa Bar is located at the heart of Parikia,the port city of Paros. While it is mostly known as a bar, it also operates during the day, serving great breakfast that shouldn't be ignored.

I visited Sativa on my first day in Paros, during my first trip around Parikia, after the recommendation of a local while I was looking for breakfast.

The place has isn't very large but it does have two floors and a garden. It is decorated with antique furniture and has some really nice painted walls. The upper area is a spacious balcony and has a great view of the garden and road below.

Sativa offers a wide variety of food, though its specialty is the various recipes of scrambled eggs served with special sauce and feta cheese, as well as the multitude of juices and smoothies.

The shop is run by John and his wife, Noa, who were very welcoming and nice when I visited. They told me a lot about the island, as well as the history behind the bar itself. There is a great story behind the name and feel of the place so be sure to ask the owners about the origins of Sativa when you visit.

John also offered to make me a special mix of two different recipes so if the place isn't too busy, I recommend you ask for the same thing. The preparation took a while longer but the result was definitely worth it.

Everything is reasonably priced and affordable. It's definitely worth the price.

I visited Sativa during the COVID pandemic so I can vouch for them that all the precautionary measures were taken properly. This was a clean, safe environment.

Went to Sativa with my girlfriend for an after dinner cocktail as we noticed how welcoming the decor and courtyard is when walking by. We ordered a cocktail each and they were very tasty. We got up to leave after about 30mins.

Unfortunately when my girlfriend went to pay the waiter got angry with her for not leaving a tip, even though she was already paying €25 for 2 drinks. She left a tip after feeling intimidated by the other 2 staff members staring angrily at her and the waiter rolled his eyes and scoffed at the tip amount only being 10%. Completely ruined our experience of the bar and our evening.

It should also be noted that the place was empty and the waiter barely interacted with us beforehand, just took our order and brought our drinks, no special requests by us that would warrant being angry at not...

The Spiti House Bar in the heart of the pedestrian zone in Parikia (Paros) is a very special cocktail bar. You feel totally welcomed in the cozy ambiente and its neatly arranged interieur. There is an inside and outside area and even a little roof top terrasse.

The cocktails 🍸 are amazing in an intermediate price range. My absolutely favorites which I would recommend are the GREEK MULE (incredibly delicious) & the STRAWBERRY MOJITO (with homemade 🍓 purree).

The owner (an unique personality) and the Bar cat 🐱 as well as the friendly waiters make the place very sympatic.

Back home, I have to admit that I miss my daily visits there and hope...
