MIRAVAL all day experience — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Great experience overall from this new restaurant addition in Limenas!

Quality of food / ingredients is really good, everything was tasty and ideally cooked.

The ambience and environment are high for the standards of Thassos and elevate the experience. If you want a nice restaurant experience there aren’t many places in Thassos that can give you that m.

We tried a steak and the chicken thighs and both were great and juicy. Appetisers and desert also very tasty.

Their Wine list is equipped for every taste.

Prices are normal to slightly high, but for us totally worth it if you want to have a nice and quality dinner in Thassos.

The staff is very attentive, both the guy who took our order and explained the different dishes with patience, to the guys who served us, everyone was very kind and with a smile on their face.

The food we tried from the main menu was good. However, we had specifically come for the sushi night, which turned out to be very disappointing. The staff seemed unfamiliar with sushi in general and even tried to tell us we didn’t understand what mayonnaise is. (For context: my husband dislikes mayonnaise, and in Japan it is not typically used with sushi.)

Instead of acknowledging the issue, they took the sushi back, rinsed off the mayonnaise, and returned the same pieces to us. A more professional response would have been to admit that the mayonnaise should have been mentioned on the menu and to replace the dish. Honesty and accountability usually show professionalism.

Overall, the atmosphere felt more like a trendy lounge with loud music than a place for authentic sushi. The restaurant still has a long way to go in terms of professionalism...

Very disappointed with the service. Waited 30 minutes for my order to be taken, one more hour for a bottle of wine to be served and another hour half of my meal (after I made a notice that my kid is hungry and the behaviour of the staff is unprofessional. After 3 hours stay we did not get our full order and had to leave (without any harsh words). None of the staff even tried to excuse themselves about the whole situation or to offer some compensation not just to us but to the other clients around us who had similar issues.
