Balthazar — Restaurant in St Peter Port

A beautifully renovated old bank vault with a comfortable welcoming atmosphere. You enter through a contemporary bar serving some truly delicious cocktails and into the main dining area. The waiting staff were attentive and food was served at a good pace. The menu while not cheep was good value for money, the set menu in particular. The food arrived to the table hot and well presented.

We took a gamble on this restaurant on a walk past and it really paid off. The quality of the food was superb, the lobster in particular was cooked to perfection.

I would thoroughly reccomend this restaurant for quality of food, drink and service and look forward to...

The cocktails are absolutely spectacular here, and they do so many!! I will definitely be back to try more, they tasted so good and are very imaginative. The staff were all friendly and polite, and served us very efficiently. The roast was okay but not the best in my opinion. The meat to veg ratio was a bit off, humongous slabs of meat but not many potatoes or veggies. I was really hoping to try their beef wellington but unfortunately in the summer they significantly reduce the roast options to only the beef. Still pretty good quality. In any case I will absolutely be back to try more drinks and the rest...

Had two amazing meals at this place my husband was so impressed with the sea bream we had to go back .. there is a waiter there called Rupee who went above and beyond.. giving us the best table in the naughty corner which was beautiful and telling me to press the boogie button in the ladies loo which had me laughing and dancing to myself.. thank you Rupee for looking after us so well and encouraging us to return… you are definitely best waiter on...
