Cosmo bar — Restaurant in Budapest

This is definitely one of those places where you will not find any tourists. I went because my bestie is from Budapest! 👀

This bar not only gives you high-quality cocktails, but it offers free board drunk board games. Which is way more fun than getting wasted on the street, at least for some!

Called here Sunday night on way back to hotel around the corner. Had a drink and made to feel really welcome by the bar staff. While having a drink the staff asked if we wanted to join in a local game of Werewolf. Explained what it was all about and agreed to give it a go. Loved it, regulars were really friendly and included me in the chat. They all spoke English as unfortunately I don't know any hungarian. Outcome- I won the game much to everyone's surprise including my own lol. Wish we had found it earlier but wouldn't hesitate to call in again. Really friendly, good price and amazing...

As there was a social event listed on Couchsurfing, we went to the Cosmo Bar. We forgave the friendly event organiser, Eren, when it turned out to be a ploy of his to get people into the bar, as he worked there! The other two people who said they would come perhaps did so after we left.

The bar is cosmically themed with cosmo based murials. If you like board games, yoh won't be bored here! If you not partial to games, then you will have plenty of reasonably priced drinks to choose from.
