Not sure how they have such high reviews. I am very transparent and fair. When we arrived here we had a few people in line and we were absolutely exhausted from being up for 38 hours of traveling. Long flight delays, overlays and just could not sleep. We finally get the warm room where we wanted to sleep for a few hours before heading out to the city. Nope zero chance it was 27 Celsius about 81 degrees. I set the thermostat to 19 celcius and we decided to just go out grab food come back and pass out. We ate a nice dinner and came back with one eye open. Room was warmer 27.5 Celsius. I went and complained nicely and they said they would adjust it from the main computer in the front desk. Then they said they would send maintenance to repair it. We were on the 6th floor so heat rises. 🥵 we got all the heat from the building. It was too late at night they did not fix it. It was one of the most absolutely miserable nights of our lives. We did not sleep more than 30 min. Sweating pouring water on the sheets. Not even a fan available. I demanded a refund for that night and switch to the 1st floor with working AC. We did move down to a cooler room but have yet to hear back about a refund. When we get back we will send an email to follow up about the refund and I will post the result. The lobby was decent. We never ate here. The staff was very nice. To top it off on our last day we had to catch a train 20 min away. Uber was late. They had our luggage in storage so we could grab a quick bite. We came back to get our luggage and left. Unfortunately we were in such a rush and had 2 kids to focus on we missed 1 bag that they somehow didnt give us. We got to the train station and somehow thankfully my wife realized it was not with us. We made it 20 min early to the station luckily. We frantically called the hotel and told them the only option would be to send it to us. We were extremely nervous about that since they used a cab but insured us it would be ok. My wife ran completely around the opposite side of the train station about a 1/4 mile RAN AND RAN BACK WITH A 40 POUND BAG! She was so stressed and out of breath we made it with 1 min left and they DO NOT WAIT 3 SECONDS. That was an uneventful experience we will never forget. Hopefully they will refund us. I will be in touch. UPDATE... AUGUST 10TH we received an email saying they will only discount the 1st night 20% which is not much at all. They took a long time to get back and will not escalate this situation. For these reasons we will...
Read moreI choose this hotel based on reviews ! This hotel does not deserve 1 start and it is said to be 4 star! This is our second night in this hotel. We are travellers with family and travel and always do hotel reservations 4 or 5 star. We went with the reviews and now I think they pay for reviews ! Why please see below The evening reception staff was not at all welcoming we reached at 9:00 pm and they already made faces when they saw kids ! If you don’t want kids just mention not kid friendly ! This is not all keep reading we got two rooms and both AC did not work the temp remain at 25-26, we called reception and they said we restarted and we cannot do much, maintenance will come tomorrow and then can look into it ? Really !!! We have 2 young kids and I paid for 4 star not to be in a hot room ! Finally and 11:20 pm I have to go to reception and Ranita was nice at the desk who really helpful and changed the room on second floor instead of 4th floor. Where temp got down to 22 atleast. Breakfast : For veg they do not have pan cake, waffle or veg sausage. Only croissant when we requested if not today for next two days, they mentioned it is fixed menu. -Room : room was decent size but the cleaning in room was done when we went for breakfast. When we left we asked to get our room made and of course it was not done why ? Because they already did it when we were at breakfast!. Also when we were in the room the cleaning lady asked if she can clean the mirror while we are in the room ? Are you kidding me, she just wants you to get it done… doesn’t care if guest are in room or if they will feel inconvenient… it could have been done when we leave …. -Hotel gallery to room: if you walk or come late and just getting in room everyone gets disturbed why because gallery is not sound proof. Best part the manager and staff does not care ! So please be mindful before doing...
