I recently visited this gorgeous independent coffee shop in Budapest and it truly lives up to its reputation as serving the best Lattee in the city.

The moment I took my first sip, I was blown away by the coffee’s quality.The Lattee was nutty, creamy, and velvety; a perfect harmony of flavors and textures that made every sip a delight.

Apparently, this coffee shop serves super nice salads and cooked breakfasts. Its a small, industrial style space whose bare walls have been softened by their light toned old bricks and accompanied by fresh flowers in vases. I go to a coffee shop, above all, for good food and drink. Though my matcha latte was milky and had a good, fine microfoam, they skimped on the matcha - a weak, small cup with about a quarter the matcha i'd get at some other cafes in town. And the small sugar free cheesecake slice, although fresh, tasted of little more than the vanilla pod and xylitol that, apparently, are added to it. In short, a nice looking place but not cheap and i need to visit again before i can comment on what it can do...

Discovered this place during my recent visit to Budapest and visited 4 or 5 times over the space of a week. Such warm and lovely staff. They serve good coffee and great cakes, pastries and wraps with a smile. Kept coming back for their amazing plum tart after someone else recommended it to me on my first visit. As other people mentioned it's nice to take your coffee over the road and have it next to/in the park. I was enamoured enough to even buy their beautiful little riso print cookbook as a gift for a friend back home. Sad I won't be able to come back here for a while. Kudos to Cube.
