A really really bad experience... I have been here many times 4 years ago when they did start implementing food into the menu, before that you could only buy crackers here. Now they have a full menu, multiple burger selections and some other meat stuff. I have ordered Juicy Lucy which should have been juicy but ours was not. When i have seen mine, that it was thick and dry i could not believe my eyes and also when they brought the normal simple burger and bbq burger they were full of sauce. Unfortunately no matter which burger you choose (among the beef ones) you will get the same meatball burger. Hard to chew, big portions of meat and really really thick. The coleslaw and crisps come with the burger, the colewslaw is like 2 teaspoon portion and not even tasty. The only good was the crisps , even though it wasnt freshly cut.
The bad experience also comes from that there was 1 girl serving the food, picking up glasses and cleaning the table and also sercing you at the bar. The owner got into the bar after some time and later on an older guy came to help them, but at first you had to stand in a queue for like 15minutes to get a drink. They were not really on top of the situation yesterday. The quality of tapbeer also downgraded this wasnt how it was...
Read moreThe service is really poor. The woman at the bar was not polite at all, I’ve asked for Milk Stout and she looked at me as if I was crazy and this type of craft beer didn’t exist, while they had in their list a lot of Milky stouts. The same about Gose beer, I asked for one from their list, and she said there was no such beer, so I asked for any other Gose and it seems she didn’t know what it was and started trying to sell me Cider. I guess bartenders have to be more informed about existing craft beer especially if they sell it (or at least take a look at the beer scheme they have as the decoration on the wall). Besides all, she was extremely unfriendly. Doesn’t worth visiting, there are better craft bars around...
Read moreSomething of a hidden gem, judging by how quiet it was most nights. This is a bar nestled in 'the party district' and with a really good beer selection of at least 10 taps of local and regional craft beers, along with a few big chillers full of even more beer!
Ate here a couple of times and the food was okay. Not the best we've had, but it's still a great place for the beers and, compared to most of the hipster bars elsewhere in the party district, they're rather good prices as far as craft beers go, even more so if you're visiting with money from other, richer EU countries.
The bar staff are (mostly) exceptional, friendly, pleasing on the eye and very knowledgeable about...
