Memorise Skybar — Restaurant in Budapest

This is a really nice and modern rooftop bar for an affordable price. The bar is located in Budapest old town and it is part of the memorize Hotel. They offer some delight dishes from the grill, tapas, desserts. If you want to have a nice evening, then it could be a good idea to visit the rooftop. Unfortunately the view is not that good, because it is not high enough and there are other rooftop bars in Budapest which offer a better view.

We had a nice table and the bar was fully booked. They have a lot of different seating options and some of them are more comfortable the others. We ordered some wine, lemonade and one cheese and meat plate. Both of them came with bread which was really good and the selection was fine at all, but finally it was a little bit too expensive or a little bit less to share. I went here with a group of friends for a girls' night and we had a great time. The cocktails are made properly and reasonably priced. The staff are wonderful. We never had to wait or try to get someone's attention they were always circulating and taking order plus they are friendly and professional. The views are awesome and the place has a cool, chilled-out vibe. The only tiny downside was the size of the food portion. I did expect my cheese platter to be a lot bigger than it was. Egy születésnapot ünnepeltünk itt a tegnapi nap folyamán. (10 fővel). A foglalásnál előre jelezték a barátnőmnek, hogy fejenként 10.000 ft a minimum fogyasztás, ennek tudatában menjünk. Nyilván az ember nem vitatkozik ezen, (bár sok ennél nívósabb helyen is megfordultam, ahol nem hallottam ilyen követelésről.) A helyszínre 20-30 perccel előbb érkeztem, és amikor beléptem a hotel bejáratán, a férfi azt mondta, hogy még korán van, nem engedhet fel a bárba, ráadásul tele is van. Nyilván elfogadtam, de kissé bántott, hogy egy annyit nem mondott, hogy addig helyet foglalhatok az előtérbe (ahol senki sem tartózkodott ráadásul.) mondta, hogy 45 kor jöhetek vissza. Addig 20 percet kint sétálgattam… Amikor visszamentem, már egy nő volt (gondolom váltás volt és a pasi nem akart velem foglalkozni) és ő mondta h menjek fel a lifttel. Amikor felmentem, láttam, hogy SENKI nem volt szinte, a helyünk is ott volt már és egyáltalán nem volt tele a hely. :)

Az ételválaszték elég kevés, bár nyilván ez egy bár és nem lehet így ezalapján nyilatkozni róla.

A kiszolgálással nem volt olyan szintű gondunk, és nem célom csak negatívakat írni a helyről. Nyilván gyönyörű a kilátás, az ember mindenképp egyszer menjen el és nézze meg. Nem túl nagy a hely, de nem rossz. Azonban ezek tények és megnehezítettek egy olyan szép alkalmat, mint a barátnőm születésnapja és azt gondolom, hogy ennyi pénzért illene kicsit kellemesebben távoznom egy ilyen helyről. (Összehasonlításképpen: a MOL Campus tetején fekvő Virtu, ahol igazán nívós körülmények közt kortyolgathatjuk az italunkat (ugyanebben az árkategóriában), lenyűgöző panorámával, hostessek kísérgetésével és segítésével… kicsit másképp...
