Ok so where do I start? I was recommended this place by a Portuguese friend many years ago and this was my 5th attempt at having a meal at this establishment. The first time I stood up and walked out after not even ordering a single thing. This was due to an awful attitude from the staff! The second and third time I left after asking if I could sit at a particular table in the very empty restaurant and being told I could only sit at the bar to eat because I was only one person. The forth time I actually managed to have a drink with friends! Wow a break though, and then there was the 5th and final time I will ever go to this establishment! Service was absolutely awful the staff don’t want to be there and don’t care about you at all. The food was very poor in my opinion. I could cook all of these tapas dishes 100 times better when I was 17 years old. I would love to go into more depth but this place simply deserves no more of my time! It was commented a few times on the table the best thing was the bread, well that says it all. The bill came to about €165 and I resented giving them a single cent! Never again would never recommend to anyone ever! Embarrassing tbh. Ps the potatas Bravas was an absolute joke. Looked as tasted like a child had made it. Me and my friends have been in quite a few places in Budapest as we are restaurant crazy and tapas maniacs, but n o n e have been like this one! Both food and service wise!
First of all, I would really like to thank Balázs for his amazing hospitality, his skills are at a premium casual venue level! :) Very attentive and friendly, knows the menu well and how to sell it even more well! Good recommendations, I could also hear other tables next to us being very satisfied.
Now, the food.. the food was really, really good, well cooked and seasoned, we tried so many dishes and enjoyed allll of them! I cannot recommend enough the pan fried duck liver with green apple and white wine caramel, the oxtail with duck liver sauce, salmon tartare, and pan roasted squid were the highlight of it all! Those dishes are perfection! We tried quite a few more and we were delighted! Desserts were the literal cherry on top, we couldn’t be more satisfied! Their sangria is really good too! :)
Everything is also very fairly priced, anyone could go and enjoy top notch quality food and service.

At first we (family of 3) were being ignored (outside terrace) while waiting for someone to seat us, then we spotted an empty table (no reservation sign, but dirty dishes and cigarettes from previous guests ), took a seat, and the waiters continued to ignore us for almost 10mins. Finally, a waiter came, avoiding eye contact at all cost, grudgingly removed the dishes and handed out menu cards, but then refused to actually clean the table from the visible stains. He literally said "I don't understand why you are sitting here"
It felt as if our presence was an insult to him.
I can't believe that after almost two years of not being able to work due to Corona, you would find people in this position who ruin it all for the rest of the team. I want to believe that the personnel in the kitchen is doing a great job and tasty dishes day by day, but why do they let these guys work in direct contact with the guests they so...
