Pizza Manufaktúra — Restaurant in Budapest

I don't know how this place got 4.7 on Google. The service was rubbish and pizza was average at best, I waited 30+mins for a (thin base) pizza that can be prepared and cooked under 10mins. The girl on the till said sorry but no emphaty. I Approached the till when it hit the 30mins mark and I was 1st in the queue then a (wolt) driver, budapest uber eats came indoor ... I was ignored even though I was there first, she served the wolt driver first...shocking! She needs to pay attention, one of the male staff prepare and at the same time calling customer's order, then he went away (for his break or something). Not recommended... oh yeah 100huf extra for a box if you want to take away. No plate even if you sit in, they gave you a piece of card board, might as well buy from a window takeaway pizza not get...

Best italian-style pizzas for the price in Budapest!

I've tried many places in Budapest but if someone thinks for a minute that the top for italian pizzas is Pizza Me than I can list 10 better for lower prices. Manufaktúra is one of them. What I really like about them is that they don't want to go for a large-scale restaurant so the amount they make does not have a toll on the quality. You can feel the care on every pizza, the dough is thin, crusty from good flour and the ingredients are top-notch for the price. I'm really sad that in the new place they can't have a freezer thus they don't have seafood pizzas (Rákász was my absolute favourite!!!), but they still make awesome pizzas! One of the best pizzas I've ever had outside of Italy! Nice little place just behind the big market hall with excellent service and great pizza. The store is just very small and "rustic". So be prepared to take a pizza with you if necessary or eat in the nearby park. We were very lucky to get one of the few seats for four of us. The waiting time depends of course on the respective customer volume hab, with us it took just about 10 minutes. When ordering, I could observe one of the best processes: the respective order is written in the presence of the customer on the cardboard / box and then the pizza baker, who then places the finished pizza on it and hands it over to the customer.
