Itâs been two weeks since we had this pizza during our trip to Budapest and weâre still thinking about it. We started with the Antipasti Mediterraneo then enjoyed a Salame Piccante Pinsa Romana and a Calabrese Padellino. These pizzas were probably the two best that weâve ever had in our lives. The crusts were light and airy with the perfect bite of crispness, the sauces well balanced being neither too sweet nor too acidic, and the meats were high quality. Weâd randomly selected this restaurant and couldnât believe our good luck! We were surprised at how good the food was. We canât recommend this place enough if you want an excellent pie in Budapest. There are other Pomo DâOro restaurants that are sister establishments (e.g a trattoria and gelateria) that we hope to try one day.

He took great care of us by anticipating our needs and preferences (such as bringing out amazing garlic oil and Calabrian pepper oil because we chose two spicier entree options), providing great conversation, and giving us helpful information about âI Ristoranti delâBuon Ricordoâ, an association of some of the best Italian restaurants in Italy and in other parts of the world. This organization produces a guidebook that provides the names, locations, and useful summaries about these restaurants. You can sit inside and outside as well, nice chilled atmosphere. đ Food: we ordered two pinsas, one with ham and mascarpone, the other with spicy salami and tomato sauce. The pizzas cost around 6000 HUF, and they are made with high quality fresh ingredients, baked locally. To me I prefer a little more flavour and less crispy dough, but it's just a personal preference, they prepared it really well.
