In a venue that prides itself on being a refined, upscale café, the service was shockingly unprofessional, sexist, and downright offensive. When my boyfriend ordered a Hugo, a waiter loudly sneered, “Not a very manly drink, is it?” — a sexist jab that would be unacceptable anywhere, but is especially grotesque in a place touting sophistication. Later, as we were leaving well before 10 PM, impeccably dressed and well-mannered, another waiter smirked and crudely remarked, “So the lady’s not snorting it this time?” while we ordered a simple Coca-Cola. To accuse your guests—unprovoked—of drug use is not edgy humor; it’s harassment cloaked in arrogance and ignorance. Dear owners of this 'fine' establishment: are you aware that you have an employee that makes you lose money? Or you just don't care when you when you could get easy money from unsuspecting tourist coming to your place? Or you just don't care that you have a broken chain with bad attitude? Maybe he had a bad day, I mean it must hard for this little fat, brunette guy. He must be feeling really frustrated that God made fun of himself. But still, leave personal problems and home and try not to give bad reputation for the working place. Anyway, awful service and awful everything overall. We went two nights in a row, enjoyed the food and service. For the first night, We order a house special for two. There were pork chop, goose leg and chicken, salad, cabbage pickles and rice. The fried zucchini and mushroom were excellent. The portion is well enough for 2-3 people. The price is moderate. The waitress were very nice to create a salad with the fried zucchini and mushroom for us upon our request on the second night. The grilled salmon were excellent, made just right.
