Our experience with visiting the stadium in Budapest was deeply disappointing and deserves a very negative review. We planned our visit carefully, wanting to make sure everything would go smoothly. An hour before arriving at the stadium, we made a phone call to confirm that tickets were available, since – incredibly – there is no option to purchase tickets online, which is already unacceptable in this day and age.

During the call, we were clearly told that there would be no problem buying tickets on-site. Reassured by this information, we made our way to the stadium – only to be told upon arrival that all tickets had been sold out and we could not enter.

When we asked why we had been told on the phone that tickets were available, no one was able to give us a proper explanation. The staff on-site were uninformed, unhelpful, and completely unprepared to deal with basic visitor questions. We were met with nothing more than a shrug and a half-hearted “sorry.”

This whole situation reflects terrible organization and a complete lack of respect for visitors. In today’s world, the absence of an online booking system, misleading phone information, and zero accountability from staff is an absolute disgrace.

We strongly do not recommend this place – it was a waste of time, money, and energy. If this stadium is meant to represent Budapest's level of hospitality and professionalism, it is truly embarrassing...

Unfortunately, despite the amazing Imagine Dragons performance, our experience at Puskás Aréna was disappointing due to poor organization.

My partner and I had tickets for row 11, seats 1 and 2. When we came back to our seats after a short break, another couple was already sitting there and claimed to have the same seat numbers. Security checked our tickets and spoke to them, but simply told us to wait and did nothing else.

A staff member came to apologize and admitted their organization was poor, promising to speak to a supervisor — who never came. We were left standing near the entrance for the entire concert, where the view was better, but we were told by security we were not allowed to stand there and had to return to our seats.

We tried asking to move to empty seats in the lower tier, but were told we had to stay in our assigned section. Despite being cooperative and patient, no real solution was offered.

Because of having to repeatedly explain the situation and move around, we were disturbed and couldn’t fully enjoy the concert.

Very disappointing. I hope future events are better organized, with staff that are able to actually help when...

We came here for a Coldplay concert. Quite well organised, the stadium is great and new, but there are things which can be improved. One of them is the lack of transportation means. The closest subway station is kilometres away, and the bus station is not much closer either. The access was made through more gates than the exit which makes not so much sense, because it creates ambushes. Maybe it is not the place to comment on the concert itself, but in my opinion it is a bit overrated. There is a bit of hypocrisy in the band show up and the show itself, even full of some kind of dynamism, lacks on the music side, which is quite boring and linear - with few exceptions it was more like a two-hour single. To me, instead of catchy it was rather kitchy. Well, I survived, but I needed some strong shots to get rid of it. Which, by the way, I had to take them to the rented apartment, because in Budapest, unbelievable, most places are closing long before midnight. The Hungarians people must be a very good and...

Puskás Aréna, Budapest, Hungary. 🇭🇺🏟 Home of the UEFA Europa League final 2023 🏆 🇪🇸 Sevilla 🆚️ Roma 🇮🇹 Capacity: 67,215 The stadium's construction started in 2017 and was finished before the end of 2019. It is an all-seater with a capacity of 67,215. The Hungarian Football Federation meets all UEFA and FIFA stadium requirements, and was awarded 4-stars by the UEFA. The stadium is built in the place of the former Ferenc Puskás Stadium whose demolition was completed in October 2016. Both stadiums were named in honour of the former national team captain Ferenc Puskás (1927–2006).Opening On 15 November 2019 the arena was opened by the match Hungary-Uruguay. The idea to invite the Uruguay national football team came from Károly Jankovics who is the leader of the Hungarian community in Montevideo. On 18 May 2023, it turned out that A.S. Roma and Sevilla FC would be play in the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League final. 📸 @europaleague 📸 @euro2024

Beautifull new stadium which attracts so many people from neigboring countries with its concerts. It is one of the best things for Budapest tourism. I visited one concert this year which was organized very good. Despite thousands of people, tiolettes were clean, everything is marked well, every coridore is friendly and easy to understand. It also has elevators and entrance for people with disabilities. The seats are comfortable and there is enough leg room. Almost at every sector you can find an exit with a bar and hotdog. Firat tip: The acoustic on the upper levels is not so good - the guitar and other instruments are ok, but the human voice from the microfone is bad, so if you by a ticket for a concert better try to find in the lower levels (you can sve and hear the video attached). Second tip: if you are a tourist in Budapest it is better to pay by a card than to exchange money - most of the bars at the stadium accept only cards!
