Our experience with visiting the stadium in Budapest was deeply disappointing and deserves a very negative review. We planned our visit carefully, wanting to make sure everything would go smoothly. An hour before arriving at the stadium, we made a phone call to confirm that tickets were available, since – incredibly – there is no option to purchase tickets online, which is already unacceptable in this day and age.
During the call, we were clearly told that there would be no problem buying tickets on-site. Reassured by this information, we made our way to the stadium – only to be told upon arrival that all tickets had been sold out and we could not enter.
When we asked why we had been told on the phone that tickets were available, no one was able to give us a proper explanation. The staff on-site were uninformed, unhelpful, and completely unprepared to deal with basic visitor questions. We were met with nothing more than a shrug and a half-hearted “sorry.”
This whole situation reflects terrible organization and a complete lack of respect for visitors. In today’s world, the absence of an online booking system, misleading phone information, and zero accountability from staff is an absolute disgrace.
We strongly do not recommend this place – it was a waste of time, money, and energy. If this stadium is meant to represent Budapest's level of hospitality and professionalism, it is truly embarrassing...

My partner and I had tickets for row 11, seats 1 and 2. When we came back to our seats after a short break, another couple was already sitting there and claimed to have the same seat numbers. Security checked our tickets and spoke to them, but simply told us to wait and did nothing else.
A staff member came to apologize and admitted their organization was poor, promising to speak to a supervisor — who never came. We were left standing near the entrance for the entire concert, where the view was better, but we were told by security we were not allowed to stand there and had to return to our seats.
We tried asking to move to empty seats in the lower tier, but were told we had to stay in our assigned section. Despite being cooperative and patient, no real solution was offered.
Because of having to repeatedly explain the situation and move around, we were disturbed and couldn’t fully enjoy the concert.
Very disappointing. I hope future events are better organized, with staff that are able to actually help when...
Read moreWe came here for a Coldplay concert. Quite well organised, the stadium is great and new, but there are things which can be improved. One of them is the lack of transportation means. The closest subway station is kilometres away, and the bus station is not much closer either. The access was made through more gates than the exit which makes not so much sense, because it creates ambushes. Maybe it is not the place to comment on the concert itself, but in my opinion it is a bit overrated. There is a bit of hypocrisy in the band show up and the show itself, even full of some kind of dynamism, lacks on the music side, which is quite boring and linear - with few exceptions it was more like a two-hour single. To me, instead of catchy it was rather kitchy. Well, I survived, but I needed some strong shots to get rid of it. Which, by the way, I had to take them to the rented apartment, because in Budapest, unbelievable, most places are closing long before midnight. The Hungarians people must be a very good and...
