Nan Jing kínai étterem — Restaurant in Budapest

Oh dear! Worst food experience ever,,, and I'm not that fussy!!,, written as a reserved Brit I personally could not recommend this in any way for anyone! after walking in and sitting down next to a half drained stinking fish tank with dead fish in it I moved away to the other side of the room,, still gets in waffs of the smell but in the hope the food would soon drown it out unfortunately the greasy flat spring roll didn't help nor the sizzling beef or aromatic jasmine steamed rice which the rice has no flavor Nor the beef which was sizzling but was chewy, grissly and only spicy for flavour,,, which although starving I could not finish my plate and to complete my meal I used the toilet before I go to find one of the urinals was missing off the wall leaving an open drain stink!! oh my god I hope I'm not sick after this meal... this is my first negative complaint like this ever and I hope they improve and no one has an experience like this! very disappointed,,, The first waitress was nice so I just paid ,,, but the 2nd waitress who just pushed the food on my table took my money,,, to her suprise no service charge was paid exept the 100ft left from my bill which I just couldn't be bothered to translate...

The area is very industrial, you would not expect anything good here (stadiums and car parks around) so I just wanted some food while waiting for my son in an event nearby, but it's definitely worth it. Just chosen from the hot plate, nothing special, but it was one of the best Chinese dishes I have ever eaten in Budapest. The restaurant was also okay, not a posh place, but clean and well maintained. Clearly how a small family business is looking. I will definitely come back...

Ahogy arra már páran felhívták a figyelmet, nem egy átlagos kínai kajálda. Már akkor is szerettem ide járni, amikor csak a pultból rendeltem a klasszikusokat (illatos omlós csirke, ftw) az ára kicsit drágább mint egy átlagos kani gyorsétteremé, de cserébe itt még sosem találtam tojáshéjat a tojásos rizsemben. Viszont amióta egyszer kipróbáltam, hogy étlapról rendelek kitárult a széles világ. Rengeteg kínaizóban kerestem azokat az ízeket, amiket odaát Kínában ettem, de sosem találtam meg, itt viszont minden autentikus. Kedvencem a csilis csirke, mert az egy az egyben ugyanaz, mint odakint, - szerencsére itt lehet csont nélkül is kérni -, nem spórolják ki a szecsuáni zsibbasztó borsot meg a chilit is. Rengeteg tengeri ételük is van, de egy-két húzósabb falatra nem árt napokkal előtte bejelentkezni. Szóval nekem az egyik legotthonosabb kínai étterem Pesten - veri a Kőbányán található kínai blokkot is, ami az utóbbi időben túlságosan elkezdte az európai szájra faragni a fogásokat, és különben is inkább a pekingi vonalat viszik, ergo tocsog az olajban minden. Itt viszont minden friss, üde, és egészséges. A kiszolgálás pedig maximálisan kedves és közvetlen. Remélem még sokáig járhatok ide. +1 az ételek szinte mindegyike gluténmentes, mert keményítőbundában forgatják a csirkefalatokat nem panírban. Szóval ha ilyen problémád van, akkor is...
