Started out well, kids liked ordering on the screens and the options seemed suitable for families. However when we went to actually collect the food, things started to go south. They’d somehow lost part of the order and missed off my son’s pizza. They promised to get it sorted, but another 15 minutes or so passed and still nothing. My son was now quite upset, sitting hungry at the table with some of the other children already finishing their meals. My Ceasar salad was pretty poor so I abandoned it, and my son and I went up to wait at the counter. Stood around being ignored for quite a while, the guy traying up the orders was rudely telling other diners enquiring about the whereabouts of their food to wait for their buzzer. Ours was silent and no pizza seemed to be forthcoming, although my son kept pointing out that there was a lonely looking pizza sitting on the rack The staff member operating the till was tied up dealing with another complaint, so it took a while to speak to them. Eventually after some puzzled analysis of my receipt and discussion between the staff, what do you know, it’s suddenly ready! Im handed the pizza that had been there the whole time. I pointed this out and the staff member said he didn’t think so. Didn’t seem fussed that they’d messed up and then messed up again, just blamed the cook. By this time everyone else was finished, so we left and my son had a Big Mac instead! Wonder if that cold pizza is still sitting there as you read...
Read moreI like the place and have been a regular since opening. Totally worth visiting, but over the years the quality has definitely decreased. I will still come back , but they should improve the service to get back to the level they kept at opening.
It's an open kitchen franchise that sells simple Italian food with the promise of simplicity , but good quality. It is a tricky market possitoning.
Better than average, Italian inspired fast food, in a better than average set up. Service is fast, food is good, portions are good. A little pricy. Just bellow restaurant prices without the attention of staff in restaurants....
Positive: Chefs are great. The concept and payment is easy (when you walk in you get a card and all orders are added, and you just present this card at exit and pay ). Food is tasty. Choices are easy. Pasta, risotto, sup, salads, pizza.
The negatives: most people working here are quite grumpy. Worts part: tables stay uncleaned and uncleared (trays, glasses and dishes ) for a long time, which makes taking a seat hard. You dont want to sit down at a table where there are dirty plates....tables are not cleaned between customers. (Stained there for 40 min....didn't see any travel to be cleaned, let alone disinfected). You pick up your own try and untentisls....and you must be attentive as they can be...
Read moreThey charge 15% service fee.i ordered at a kiosk (no service there). Then i had to go to the counter to take my prepared order (no service there). But you dont even get your full order. For the desserts and drinks you have to go back to the bar, stand in line and get your stuff. (Slow and wouldnt call that as a service either). When i asked where can i get the rest of my order the "waitress" became annoyed and told me like i had to know because i obviously should have been born with the innate knowledge that i have to go back to the bar. The only service was that a waiter came and took away our plates when we finished. All while complaining loudly about why people order drinks because he has no room tu put the glasses on the trays. So, rude staff and you serve yourself but you pay service fee and even 15% at that. The food was ok-ish but the pasta was a bit dry (not as in undercooked but...
