Wok n' Go — Restaurant in Budapest

This was absolutely horrible. 🤢🤢🤢 The worst Wok N'go experience I've had, which is ironic because on Google maps this one has the highest rating among them. I had caramelised chicken and it was like eating cardboard — dry, shallow, barely chewable. The portions were also pretty small compared to other wokngo spots. As I'm writing this review I feel like either taking a pill or bringing the food back before I digest it. Basically the life lesson here, I've been to wokngo spots with 1.9 stars on Google maps they had way better, fresher food, with larger options.. so don't always trust the reviews. I’m glad I only ordered a small portion. Fried rice and spicy & sweet chicken. I wanted to put soy sauce over my rice and did not notice that on my table there were two identical containers, even the colors were identical. Unfortunately in one of them was vinegar. Well, I now had acidic rice, so I went to buy another portion of rice. And then I tasted everything and left it as it was. The chicken tasted really bad, like they marinated it in chemicals, and they tried to overpower this taste with a very hot chili. First and last time. A waste of money...

It's located in the Batthyany Ter Market Hall. The staff are very friendly. Keep in mind that the main meal doesn’t include rice, you’ll need to pay extra for it. The portions are generous, making this a great spot if you're on a budget.

Mind you, I’m Asian and this is the tastiest 'Chinese fast food' I’ve ever had! The restaurant is also very clean. They have a seating area on the second floor along with a toilet.
