My wife was the point of contact with the host, but I'll share my own thoughts here. First, I actually don't know about the cost but I assume it was reasonable since we don't have loads of money. The place is very quaint, right across the street from the river with a view of the beautiful (like, really really beautiful) parliament building. There's a lot of street parking around the building, so while I guess there's no guarantee to get a spot, we had no issues. The apartment is on the 4th floor, and there's an elevator which was very helpful. There's a tram and metro just a 2-3 minute walk from the building, which connects you to just about anywhere! I believe it was ~€5 per person for a city-wide 24-hour train pass. Even without those connections, there's a number of restaurants and cafes within a 5-10 min walk, Buda Hill with a great view of the city within a 15 min walk, and of course the option to stroll along the river.
