I was a bit disappointed with my visit. We went on a busy Sunday morning, but we found a table.
When I ordered, the lady told me it would take some time because it was crowded. I understood that, but everything came one by one, drinks, half of the food, coffee, the other half od the food, then finally the orange juices after everything was already finished.

Zuzu Café & Bakery is an absolute gem in Budapest! From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the story behind its name, the owner named it after her adorable sausage dog, Zuzu, who can often be found soaking up love from customers. The logo and branding pay homage to this sweet pup, adding such a personal and joyful touch to the whole experience.
The sourdough bread is to-die-for honestly, some of the best Iâve ever had. But itâs not just the food; the coffee, the artistic decor, cozy ambience, impeccable cleanliness, and warm, attentive service make it a standout. As a woman, it was so inspiring to see a young entrepreneur pour so much passion into creating such a welcoming space and all the team have smiles!
Whether you're a local or just visiting, Zuzu CafĂ© & Bakery is a must-try. Delicious food, a great story, and a lovely atmosphereâwhat more could you...

I first stopped by for an iced coffee and a strawberry Nutella croissant, both were so fresh and delicious that I had to come back again for brunch. This time I had the omelette with sourdough, and it was honestly one of the best brunches Iâve ever had, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully fresh.
The service was brilliant, and the barista was so friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. Prices are very reasonable too. And of course, a special mention to Zuzu the dog, such a sweet and happy addition to the café, guaranteed to make you smile!
Highly recommend this spot , Iâll definitely be back next time...
